Our Home Comfort Check is a short visit where we look for small issues that can affect how comfortable your home feels. Many of these are quick to fix and can make an immediate difference, such as draughts around doors, loose fittings, or gaps that let in cold air.

Why we offer it

After years of helping people move and settle into new homes through MWVan UK, we found that many were living with small issues that made their homes less comfortable. That’s why we created Mendwell, a local home services arm focused on comfort, maintenance, and practical fixes.

What happens during your visit

• We check key areas such as doors, windows, letterboxes, and fittings for gaps or issues.
• We note anything that could be improved to keep warmth in and cold air out.
• There’s no pressure or obligation, just simple advice and help if you’d like it.

Common things we help with

• Fixing or adjusting doors, locks, and latches
• Resealing around windows or sinks
• Filling small gaps or draughts
• Repairing trims, handles, or skirting
• Hanging mirrors, shelves, or small fittings
